Our Mission Statement

"Get hold of the spirit of helping somebody else.
Seek every opportunity to make somebody happier
and more comfortable."

Booker T. Washington
(1856-1915)
Sunday Evening Tuskegee Talks

"In that church/mosque organization of a hundred members, in the Black communities of our nation, where nine-tenths are in debt for food and clothing, and live from hand to mouth, there may be much morality and religion, but I had rather take my chances in the community where the Minister/Imam has taught them to buy land, build comfortable homes and schools, keep out of debt, create wealth-producing volume-oriented businesses, and to mix with religious zeal plenty of well-cooked nourishing food, habits of thrift and economy, so that they are able to stand on their feet and look the world in the face, as independent men and women, in their business and political life." M. M. Abuwi, adapted from the teachings of Booker T. Washington.
